Four Ways to Feel SEXY Today Valentine
Whether you are in a relationship or you are a ‘solovalenteur’, how you feel today may be all up to YOU! Let’s talk about feeling SEXY.
S enses can be experienced in 21 ways
E xotic … shake, dance and be an original self
X terminate negativity
Y es and Y es
Senses can be experienced in 21 ways in our miraculous bodies. What you may not know, is that we actually have more than just our five commonly understood senses: sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste to play with.
We actually know from whole-brain science, that we have 21 senses according to current unpublished research (University of Utah): sight, sound, smell, touch, taste, vestibular (balance & body perception), thermoception (heat), nociception (pain), equilibrioception (balance), proprioception (body awareness), radiation (color, temperature, mood), the feeling senses (sensing gravity, air, wind & motion), the chemical senses (hormones such as pheromones, hunger, food, water), the mental senses (mirror neurons of the brain giving us attunement and empathy). 21 Senses might contribute to a pretty fun sandbox to play in today!
What ways will you dare your creative sexy senses today?
One of my favorite movies is 9 ½ Weeks. Have you seen the refrigerator scene? Actually, the whole movie is an orgasm of SENSES. Check out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bNCMcQ_moo
How turned on do YOU want to feel today?
Let’s talk about the inner exotic.
E xotic you– alluring… mysterious… original… vibrant? What feelings do these words conjure in you? For me, they activate feelings of power, excitement, and sensuality. Sadly, we judge and restrict our Inner Exotic Self much of the time because of years of conditioning through family, religion, culture and through experiences of shame. We often find ourselves shrinking when we might otherwise take a risk to let our Inner Exotic Self out.
Shakira and Jennifer Lopez exemplified EXOTIC in this year’s Superbowl half time show. In their spellbinding magical performance, 3 generations of women played, danced and belted out their songs amidst the ‘testostrofest’ of this year’s epic Superbowl game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.
Why do we love The Superbowl and spectator sports events? Partly because these events are tribal. Do they provide emotional release? Is it about the shared experience; the shared thrill of not knowing the outcome? That is SEXY tension.
This year, the half time show was a fire starter. It came with its controversy … as we saw in the reviews… Much like with Mick Jagger & The Rolling Stones, we were called to the Wild. These women turned up the volume on SEXY… shaking off the conventional feminine good girl proto-types. They were fearless of social judgment or fall out. They took chances. They were original. From where I was sitting with a room full of crazy football fans, this half time show lit the fires of equality and male-female sexual power. Good timing… stomping out the Trump Patriarchal virus.
Do Sports, Sex & Rock & Roll keep us healthy, connected and thriving in life? I think yes!
Is it time to set yourself free? If you haven’t seen the half time show, you may want to check out Shakira and Jennifer Lopez here for some new ideas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pILCn6VO_RU
You will see 3 generations of women erupting vibrantly… bringing their ALL to the stage.
“WE ARE ALIVE”
X terminate negativity. There is nothing that can shrink your potential more than the stress and fears of inadequacy. Everyone has their own journey and story on this topic. We are all here to learn and grow. We can sometimes find ourselves locked in a role in someone else’s story…
You know those moments of conflict… that we worry about… that we stay up through the night worrying about… we all go there some of the time. It’s human… and a choice. And that, my friend, is a scary business because we have NO control of our part if we are in someone else’s story. Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, and Mick Jagger have rejected playing a part in anyone else’s story… they are their own story.
We all have our own journey, themes and events we learn from and handle better ‘next time’… We should focus on our own stuff and let others work through theirs. Strengthen your boundaries when you are the target of someone else’s negativity.
Today is your day. Don’t be distracted.
If you try to resolve someone else’s nightmare, are you an empath or a martyr?

Don’t be hijacked today – love love love unconditionally… and just say no to confusion when you can. You are perfectly imperfect. Why not choose to lighten the load today S E X Y?
Y es to YOU Valentine. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL, AMAZING, AND DELIGHTFULLY IMPERFECT like all of us. You are also inept, awkward, self-conscious and blundering some of the time, just like all of us. Today love all of you.
I love the letter Y because of its shape… stand tall, arms in the air… look up…reach up… today is your day.
Love S E X Y you!
Happy Valentine’s Day.
